The Sundale Foundation is a non-profit organization focusing on strengthening Tulare’s rural community by providing facilities, resources, and programs that inspire academic excellence, promote lifelong learning, build moral character, and enable students and adults to become successful citizens contributing to the Valley’s future.
Transforming the Legacy Center
Nexgeneral recently partnered with the Sundale Foundation to renovate the Legacy Center, a new community center in the heart of a Tulare neighborhood. The Legacy Center was built as a space for the Tulare community to host fitness events, art classes, after-school programs, counseling services, and green space allowing families to play soccer or have a barbeque together.
Brian Griffin, Executive Director of the Sundale Foundation, shared that one little girl was so excited about the big green field at the Legacy Center. Because there was finally something akin to a park near her home, she and her friends no longer had to ride their bikes across town to be near the grass.
Through the Legacy Center renovation project, Nexgeneral helped to transform the existing structure into a beacon of light for the neighborhood. Through upgraded facilities with accessible sinks, commercial toilets, and privacy partitions, the Legacy Center is more equipped to provide a safe and welcoming space for after-school programs and community activities. Nexgeneral will continue to bring Sundale Foundation’s vision to life by building pickleball and basketball courts and expanding concrete walkways.
