Ani’s Daily Scoop is a retro-style ice cream shop designed and built as part of the California Armenian Home campus. Once an under-used meeting room, the space has been completely transformed into a vibrant and nostalgic malt shop experience.

The project features classic checkered floors, bubblegum pink booths, and vintage car artwork that brings the space to life. A custom neon logo designed by Dennis Bacopulos and installed by Commercial Neon Inc. adds an authentic touch to the shop’s identity.

Unique challenges were met with creative solutions, including a custom stainless steel sink with an integrated reservoir to work around existing plumbing, and a striking ice cream freezer that anchors the space visually.

This was a true design-build collaboration with CORE leading interior design, working hand-in-hand with the California Armenian Home team from concept to completion. The result is a playful, functional space that brings joy to residents and visitors alike.
