MexSabor is a vibrant new Mexican restaurant in Fresno that recently underwent a complete transformation. We partnered with interior designer Tami Waters of WonderHause Design Studio to bring her bold creative vision to life. From the start, it was a true collaboration, blending innovative design with practical construction expertise.

The remodel included polished concrete floors, striking new lighting fixtures from Ukraine, and a total kitchen overhaul to meet health code standards. Outside, we refreshed the exterior with new paint, modern sconces, and custom railing details using black stainless steel cabling. Inside, guests are welcomed by standout features like zebra wood bar tops, hand-crafted cabinetry, and a glass bottle wall with integrated lighting.

One of the most rewarding challenges was building that bottle wall. It took creative problem-solving and precise planning to deliver the look Tami imagined while making sure everything was safe and up to code.

MexSabor is more than just a restaurant project. It’s a great example of how thoughtful design and quality construction can come together to create a space that’s memorable, functional, and built to last.
